Culture Jam: Nevada in the US Election
For my lecture on culture jams, we were tasked with creating our own relevant culture jam.
During the US election, the world waited for Nevada’s results to come in to decide Joe Biden’s victory in the polls. The wait was a recurring joke online as people waited for nearly a week for one state’s votes.
For my culture jam, I took this idea of Nevada making people wait and mixed it with Donald Trump’s (one of the two candidates) of ‘Make America Great Again’ as I felt that this would be a good example of political satire.
